A Night at the Ballroom - Table Tennis Case

A handcrafted luxury table tennis case made from Nordic salmon leather.

Originally created for Homo Faber during the opening week of the Venice Art Biennale, this table tennis case explores the tension between elegance and play, ceremony and movement. A sculptural object designed to be carried, noticed, and questioned.

Handmade in our Stockholm atelier from deep green salmon leather, the case is shaped with sharp restraint and finished with gold toned hardware. A wrist strap allows it to be worn as an accessory, while the slim silhouette follows the geometry of the Cybershape paddle with precision.

The leather is sourced from the Nordic Sea and tanned in Iceland. A by product of the fishing industry, chosen not despite its origin but because of it. The surface reveals the natural scale structure of the salmon, giving each piece a depth and texture impossible to replicate.

Every detail is intentional.
