About Kristian Eddé
Kristian Eddé is a Swedish fashion brand built on a deep commitment to timeless design, refined craftsmanship, and sustainable luxury. Founded by Daniel Kristian Edde Ankarstrand, the brand began with a simple but powerful idea: if the perfect product does not exist, make it yourself.
When Daniel couldn’t find the high-quality leather accessories he was looking for, he began teaching himself the art of leathercraft. What started as curiosity became a full devotion. Countless hours were spent studying traditional techniques, watching master craftsmen, and practicing every detail by hand. Every cut, every stitch, and every mistake became part of the process.
In 2016, after thousands of hours dedicated to his craft, Daniel launched Kristian Eddé — a tribute to the wonders of nature. Especially the sea, as most of the brand’s accessories are made from salmon leather.
The Name
The name Kristian Eddé originates from Daniel’s two middle names — Kristian and Edde. The accent over the final ‘e’ is a homage to the French tradition of fine craftsmanship, reflecting the brand’s dedication to detail, heritage, and elevated quality.
While many people search for the brand as “Kristian Edde,” both spellings refer to the same Swedish luxury house — rooted in sustainability, timeless design, and artisanal values.

Kristian Eddé is committed to sustainability in both material and method. We only work with leather whose origins and processes are fully traceable. Our signature salmon leather is one of the most exceptional and underused materials in fashion. It is sourced as a byproduct of the Nordic fish industry and tanned in Iceland using environmentally conscious methods.
